Zygotic are a youthful pop punk trio hailing from Western Sydney. They have been gigging strong since the beginning of 2006. Zygotic have been awarded the title of Australian Kool Skools band competition winners of 2008. 272 records of California, USA selected Zygotic to represent Australia on an international compilation album, released earlier this year in North America. They have worked with producer Shane ‘Buddha’ Edwards (Cog, The Mission in Motion, The Vaine). In June Zygotic recorded their debut 7 track EP at Studio 52 in Melbourne, which is being launched October 23th @ the Metro Theatre, Sydney.

Zygotic plan to keep on writing, recording, releasing and performing their blend of melodic alternative pop punk until they’re riddled with arthritis and in walking frames.
