- Urban Spotlight
- We are looking for three young and enthusiastic acts that are eager to progress in the music industry and showcase their talent. The successful acts will each get three days in the recording studio with professional musicians and 100 copies of the final product. To top it all off, the chosen three will get to promote their demo at a launch gig in March 2010.

YRock School is a tailored course for budding young musicians to get their first taste of stardom.
This course is ideal for beginner to intermediate musicians aged 11+ and is a great way to meet new friends with the same interests and start playing in bands!
Run by professionals and experienced musicians we bring you a crash course on all things music and bands, culminating in a fantastic live show!
Ideally suited for guitarists, bassists, singers and drummers, it’s a fantastic way to play music, meet new people, and get out of the house over the holidays…

It was a wet and wild Friday night in Glasgow. But that’s how we like it. Hundreds turned up to ABC2 to watch and listen to a night of punk-laced indie rock (if this type of music has an actual genre then feel free to let me know).

i have a 60w line 6 spider 2 amp
a 30 w line 6 practice amp
and a fat rat bass amp... which i think is 50w, but not sure
all the amps would need mic'd up - especially the practice amp, though they all have a line out, but i believe the bass amp is temporamental using a line out.

yeah we got tickets fine
we dont have much in the way of a backline; i might be able to bring a 75w line 6 spider 2 amp (not the valve amp) if need be, but it would be a hastle bringing it from livingston.
we also have a pearl kit, but no means to transport it
would it be possible to borrow backline/drum kit?
