The award is for secondary school students in Years 9-10, (aged 13-15 years), who have a passion for the environment and a desire to encourage others to make a difference through their leadership and commitment. The award has been designed for schools to recognise their own environmental leaders and then enable those individuals to apply for a National Award.

Wangaz High School is doing pretty well since YJ08
We've really got things goin, our enviro group is becoming more of a success and my enviro class is coming up with strategies to deal with climate change in the wanganui region!
Much of this would not have happened if WHS didn't come to YJ08!
So big Upz to youz!!!
