Today we said goodbye to Paulie.

It still hasnt quite sunk in that he is gone. When I threw a little gold flower down to him, and said "Seeya Paulie" it still didn't feel quite real.

And so in light of recent events, I want to let all my friends know that I love them. So so so so so so much. Just days before his accident, I was gonna leave a comment for him on Bebo, and send him a txt. But I didn't, I left it, thinking I could do it some other time.

Let you friends know how much they mean to you. I know it may seem kind of morbid, but you can't take life for granted. Embrace all the wonderful times you have with your friends and family. Let them know how much you appreciate them.

I love you Paulie. I will never ever forget you, and all the awesome times we spent together. The night you climbed in and out of Stephs windows like a burglar in stealth mode. The time you suggested trying salt and vinegar chips dipped in peanut butter. (Which oddly enough worked REALLY well.)

And the obsession you had about wanting to make the pie film.
You were an amazing guitarist, and I know that the next time we happen to meet, you will be wanting to show off all the songs you've recently taught yourself on your guitar that is twins with my guitar.

I told so many of my friends about you over the last few months, and most people I know have seen your infamous miniskirt video. So many people who had never even met you were upset about the news of your passing, because they felt that they knew you, even though it was only through what I had told them about you. You had such an amazing character. You were always laughing, always cracking jokes, and always making light of the situation. Nothing got you down. And I know that in some way, you have helped to shape who I am now, and the person I will be in the future. You have had an impact of so many people's lives, and I want to thank you for all the times you helped to cheer me up.

You really did feel like my little brother sometimes, Paulie, and I love you so much, and I miss you heaps, and wish I could just call you and hear your voice, so I knew you were alright. You didn't deserve this.

You'll always be my favourite rockstar Paul Frank. And I know that you would have made it, given the opportunity.
