Has it really been that long since I last wrote to my blog. Well, a lot has happened since my last blog. Christmas and New Year seems as if it happend a long time ago. You'll be pleased to know it's only 309 days to go until we devour vast quantities of Chocolate for breakfast, eat masses of Turkey for dinner and try to drown ourselves in Ale! ......can't wait!

With a bit of luck, Linda and I might officialy own our new house by then. We are currently waiting for our mortgage to get sorted out but have been told that it may be as early as mid March that we take ownership of the house. Can't wait to furnish it and get out to enjoy it in the summer. Watch this space!

Life in Elgin is slow at the moment. I think everyone hibernates until Spring time although I have seen more people on the go in the last few days since the snow melted. They apper to be walking about with the false belief that the bad weather is over and Spring is on it's way. The fools! Every year we have a slightly warm period in February, with above average temperatures, just before the next onslaught of snow.... And there's always the dumping we get during the kids school holidays at Easter.
