Building Project Logo Contest

WBO's mission is to help more women succeed in business. Our plan is to provide physical locations for women to conduct business in a professional setting at affordable prices.

With your support, WBO will be able to purchase vacant buildings in cities with a minimum of 10 businesses owned by women with $5,000 or more a year in revenue. WBO will renovate these buildings; providing a minimum of 5 office spaces, 1 board room, and an open front area for a receptionist. (1 office space will be used for a WBO Branch Office) We will rent out each space for $200-$1,000 (depending on size of space) a month for return revenue. Each office will be equipped with internet service, phone jack and one phone answering line.

We are building businesses, one building at a time!

Your logo may launch a nationwide project starting in Houston, TX.

Guidelines

We are accepting entries through the 29th of February and have voting from March 1 - 7 for the best logo. All entries must be original work of submitter.
Acceptable Formats: .jpg, .gif, .png (with 300 dpi or better)

Did you know that Saturday September 22nd is American Business Women’s Day?

For those that are not familiar with ABW Day here is the background:

The first American Business Women’s Day (ABW Day) was celebrated in 1982. It is a national day for American to recognize the achievements of not only ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) members but also the millions of employed women in the U. S. It’s observed on September 22, the anniversary of ABWA’s founding.

In 1983 and 1986, joint congressional resolutions passed designating a national observance of September 22 as American Business Women’s Day. Following each resolution, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation.

How can we let this day pass without doing something?

Answer: WE CAN’T!!!

In celebration of American Business Women’s Day, we want to invite every woman in business to: American Business Women’s Day Cheer and Share

When: Saturday September 22nd (national observance of ABW Day)

Time:

Pacific: 7am - 2pm
Mountain: 8am - 3pm
Central: 9am - 4pm
Eastern: 10am - 5pm

This 7-hour event will offer a chance for all businesswomen to:

• Share about their business
• Talk about their experiences
• Exchange ideas and advice with other business women
• Discuss topics of interests
• Meet new people and learn from each other

With your help, we can make this impromptu Cheer and Share hugely successful for everyone that participates. For helping, us spread the word about American Business Women’s Day Cheer and Share. We are offering you a special listing in The ABWD Cheer and Share e-directory that will be available a week after the ABWD Cheer and Share Event for free.

The listing will include your name, business url, and what services or products you or your group offers. (Just send an e-mail keybusinesspartners@gmail.com telling us what you did to spread the word and the information above to be listed.)

Everyone that participates in the Cheer and Share on Saturday will have the opportunity if they wish, to offer a freebie or discount deal that will be listed in the Coupon Sections of the e-directory. (Information will be collected at the event).
