A recent interview in Rolling Stone magazine paraphrased will.i.am's description of "SONGS ABOUT GIRLS": “Boy meets girl. Boy gets girl. Boy goes to strip club. Boy gets caught cheating. Girl leaves. Boy and girl somehow get back together.” The video concept for the album took shape in Brazil with director Brian Barber, long-time collaborator with OutKast on many of their clips, including the award-winning “Hey Ya!,” who went on to direct their feature film Idlewild.

"SONGS ABOUT GIRLS" is will.i.am's first effort outside The Black Eyed Peas that really harnesses all his creative energies.
