About Me

Me, Myself, and I: I've lived in India twice to further an opening to Truth which began in early 2000 with the discovery of the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. I received initiation from SRF. Then, in Oct. of 2004, I met the living Guru, Shibendu Lahiri in L A and took diksha. Nothing compares to sitting with an enlightened soul. Spent 3 yrs in India (02, '05, '06). Upon arrival in '05, I had planned to stay only a short time in Varanasi, but ended up there for 7 months. After, I settled in the Himalayan village of Dwarahat which is near Ranikhet and Babaji's cave. Also lived in Jageshwar

Kriya Yoga is my path, a continuous challenge to keep myself centered in awareness of the Self, especially in such a surrealistic place such as India. Sometimes it seems like a waking dream. Of course, America is a wild domain within the Maya with its own crazy brand of absurdity. It's all meant to wake us up.
