You decide who wins our fab Sugar Internship competition!
We’ve had loads of great entries in our competition to go behind the scenes at Sugar with a weeklong internship and now it’s your turn to decide who the winner is.
Read the entries below and then vote on your favourite in the poll above!
A. Kate
Hi I'm Kate : )
I think someone with real model confidence is someone who's happy with who they are. I dont think it's about loving every bit of your body to the point of arrogance - I think it's more about liking yourself as a whole and realising that you have something to offer. To me someone who has model confidence is comfortable with themselves, and doesn't need to be perfect 24/7 to be happy.
The people I look up to are not the ones who are completely looks orientated and who think that fashion is everything - but the smiling people who look amazing, just because they're happy, who like fashion but don't live through it.
I know it's cheesy and everyone says it, but happiness is everything, and personally I reckon with it comes confidence
B. Chloè
I generally think that everbody has what it takes to be a model. Its not about being stick thin or having perfect cheek bones its about having the confidence and belief in yourself that you are beautiful. I think that the stereotypical model regime is just totally wrong and misleading because 99% of models are airbrushed making them look like someone they are not. I think that Ex model Tyra Banks really supports the idea that being a model is not all about being perfect. She is a good role model because she has a strong modeling talent but she is always making people feel good about themselves giving them a lot more confidence. She is a natural beauty and gives fuller figure women the chance to shine and i think that is something to admire. This competition caught my attention because i am really interested in the media and in the future would like to become a journalist and i think this would be an exciting a major opportunity x
C. Millie
I think that anybody that believes in themselves has model confidence, it's not about being the best dressed, or having the sweetest smile, anyone can do that, it's about knowing you can do anything and holding your head up high. There are people out there that have things they want to improve about themselves, but they still smile and get on with life and I believe that they have model confidence along with anyone that uses what they have to make the best out of themselves. Model confidence is all about having the power to believe, and anybody with that i'd say has model confidence.
D. Indie Love
Model confidence, is basically what Sugar tell you. They tel you to be who you are, feel comfortable in what you do + what you wear. It doesn't matter what other people think, it's all the personality that counts. I think I am model confident, model confident isn't about being skinny & gorgeous, it's more having self confidence, to pose in front of a camera like no one's watching, and just let your personality shine.
I think it's great if someone who is not the most gorgeous person ever, and not the skinniest person, has model confidence, it means they can flaunt there stuff and not care about anyone else’s opinion. And I think that's what I have, I know there are gorgeous people out there, and I'm not that bad looking, i'm not too skinny either, but I'm not fat, but I believe in myself, that I can just flaunt what I have, and not care about anyone else + that's why I think I should be picked. I would love to intern at Sugar, as I hope to one day work for Sugar magazine. Thanks, x
E. Rachel.
Maybe I have a different interpretation of what 'model confidence' means, but seeing everyone suggesting which celebrities have 'model confidence' made me really think about how we choose our role models.
Personally, I think that those most worthy of the recognition are those who overcome great difficulties in their lives, and build up their confidence a0 Comments 191 weeks

I think Alesha Dixon has model confidence. I watched a TV programme a while ago and admitted that she was not comfortable with the amount of airbrushing and perfecting that is used on celebrity photos nowadays including her own. She is beautiful and confident enough to publish photos that are not perfected and wants to spread a healthy body image to young girls and make sure we all have model confidence.

i think that people dont have to fell confident with them self but look it and when you do this and talk to new people you will notice that your whole confidence is going to boost inside and out.sooner or later youll realise that more people would stop and say hi or smile at you as you walk past them.the person i think has most model confidence is one of my besties aileen because she is always happy ever when people laugh at her or say stuff about her she always ends up making it funny and she can get over things really quickly

Model confidence is about being unique. Not being major skinny and having a perfect body!. Everyone should be themselves and not somebody else. I think my best friend Phoebe has model confidence. In my opinion i think she is a perfect size and is really pretty. She dresses to her personality. I would never want her to change her appearence!!! Girls believe in yourself! BE CONFIDENT!!!

Skittles.
I believe model confidence is being froud of what you are ! also if you believe that you will go out model confident, you Will ! but on the other hand if believe that your not as good looking as the others or your fatter than them, then you'll be convincing yourself that you are. I believe just be positive ! It would get you further in life. x

It's all well and good being pretty on the outside but its whats on the inside that makes you pretty... A true pretty person is someone who shines on the inside and the outside..It is someone who doesnt care what anyone else thinks because they know what makes them who they aret...Anyone can say something about the way u look to hurt you but all u have to do is believe in yourself because no one can be truly pretty unless they believe in themselves...Be unique and never try to be someone your not...So common girls start believing in yourselfs....Everyone is Pretty You Just Gotaa Believe In Eachother But More Importantly Believe In Yourself..x

To have model confidence you have to believe in yourself. You shouldn't care what other people think. Some people may call you fat, ugly, or a freak but it's not true. Everyone is unique and beautiful in there own way. People who believe in themselfs have more model confidence and will get alot further in life than those who don't. Everyone has a chance to be a model and everyone should chase there dreams. It doesnt matter what size you are, or what your height is, or how pretty you are. It's the people who don't have self confidence or belief and wears all that fake tan, and loads of make up, the ones that put the other people into shame that won't get far in life. People should be themselfs no matter what other people think. That is model confidence. Bonnie x

No matter who you are, you should be proud to show off who you are and not care what other people think about you... you should be happy with yourself just the way you are and never let anyone stand in your way and never let them get you down, make sure you are who you really are not what someone else wants you to be
you dont need plastic surgery or make up to be a model anyone could be whatever you want x

Daniellee.2/19/09Model confidence is about being unique, being who you want to be. Believing in yourself for who you are not who others want you to be. To see a plus size model walking downt he catwalks amaizng, because you know just because shes not supper skinny she has the confidence to be who she wants to be and show the world youdont have to be perfect. Taylor Swift is an amaizng role model, yeah shes pretty but she believed in herself and it took her far. I think a model should be someone confident in thereselves and not so selfconsionce as models are made out to be ! x
