Quotes - gotta love quotes
Dont know about a lot of you guys out there, but i just love my Martial Arts quotes. A good quote can help inspire us to train harder so our techniques are stronger and more effective. Other quotes can help calm our minds to focus on the task and to remember that to be successful in Martial Arts, you must have a clear and focused mind, not one full of random thoughts.
Here are a few I have seen on my travels and quite like. I ahve included the originator where I knew it, so sorry for a few being missing.

Hi there, Sorcha Mc Corry- Karate Intervarsities here,im contacting you as i had arranged with Sachi to meet her in Dublin this Weekend. I had arranged to bring her to Dublin for some training etc . I had arranged for her to come down Friday (today 10th) april", I was to meet her from Connolly Station in dublin. The train she was meant to have be travelling on was to have arrived at 10am this morning. I waited for the next train to arrive in connolly at 12:40 but there was no sign of her. Im slightly concerned of where Sachi may be. If there was a misunderstanding of what the plan may have been im not entirely sure. If anyone can give me an email as soon as possible it would be much appreciated. Ihave tried to contact her on her mobile with no success and im slightly worried, can someone get back to me. This is the only way i know to contact to get in touch!

Another grading congrats is in order. No seniors this time, as Bob had a damaged hand. Four beginners graded, Matthew, Howard and Charlie all went to 9th kyu and Ibi went to 8th kyu. Yuko and Andy went up a grade to 7th kyu, and Louise came down from the Magee club to become 6th kyu. Martin and Noel did a good grading and were given high praise - already good enough to go to competition under their new belts, was the gist of it. 5th kyu for them. Keep up the training - a particularly good opportunity to do so this weekend, with a 2 day sensei Randall course! For those who don't know, Sensei Randall is one of the most senior sensei in the British Isles, one of the first to obtain black belt, and an excellent teacher. Osu
It's the beginning of a new academic year, the leaves are turning, the days are getting short, the students are drinking. Whoohoo! A quick welcome to anyone who's just started training with us, stick around and enjoy yourselves!
Well done to all the grading karate-ka from last Tuesday 12th August, and the two who graded Thursday before: Yuko Chiba is now 8th kyu (two grades at once!) Andy Robinson is also 8th kyu Noel McAfee, Martin Keating and Ross McCrory: all 6th kyu Bob Welsh is 3rd kyu, quite an achievement passing to brown. Duarte Molha, Shodan! There are some videos floating around, should be able to get them posted for all to see soon. Congratulations, keep training!
