It looks like Michael Sheen–Aro of the Volturi in New Moon–didn’t go to Italy for location shoots for the movie and performed all his bits on stages and green screens in Vancouver.


Twilight stars such as Ashley Greene, Charlie Bewley (Demetri), and Daniel Cudmore (Felix), and Bobbly Long (who co-wrote, “Let me sign,” by Robert Pattinson) was spotted in Berlin at a Twilight party.


Peter Facinelli (Carlisle) was recently interviewed on the red carpet for the premiere of his new show Nurse Jackie and talked about New Moon as well as Eclipse.

He also notes that New Moon director Chris Weitz reminds him of Carlisle ...

“I always tell him, ‘You remind me of Dr. Cullen,’because he’s very thoughtful and always thinking and always calming,” <i/>he said.</b> “If there’s any chaos going on, you can look to him and it’s all calm, so he really is Dr. Carlisle Cullen.”

“He even started wearing scarves,” </b> Facinelli continued. “I was like, ‘Hey, you’re stealing my thing, man.’ “

Taylor Lautner is back in Los Angeles after his New Moon shoot in Vancouver where he was spotted ocassionally with “good friend” Selena Gomez. They were spotted grabbing some frozen yogurt.

There is an interview with Azzurra Russo and Alan Cappelli , Kristen and Rob’s Doubles in the film.

You will be able to see Azzura in the movie when there are shots of the yellow porche from farther away, AND when Edward steps out into the sunlight, that will be Alan!

Alan: “Today a girl approached me asking for a photo. Instead of me she took a photo of my feet. When I asked her why she’d done this, she told me that it was my feet after all that will be seen on screen stepping into the sun on the piazza.” [laughing]

Being body doubles the two of them were used for light- and blocking rehearsals and even the scene when Bella runs over the piazza to prevent Edward from doing the deadly step into the bright sun at noon, has been done with them.

Alan says that Azzurra seems to be even more petite than tenuous Kristen. And it’s not only her figure that relates her with the actress. From some distance even Alan got messed up spotting her on the piazza.

Alan: “I waved at her wishing her a good morning when I was suddenly realising it was Kristen getting prepared for the fountain scene. Kristen waved pleasantly back. Another proof for the cast being nice and open instead of distanced as they’re often said to be. Azzurra and Alan give confirmation to that. As soon as they were in a private environment they were nice and easy going.

Alan: “Everybody was relaxed on the set. All of us could personally feel the energy that was given to us by the enthusiastic fans but as well the responsibility that it brings with.”
Good to know! Rumours were spread around Montepulciano that Robert in particular was avoiding getting in touch with fans. <i/>

Azzura: “That’s not true. He was even ready to not eat during his break to say ‘Hello’ to the fans. But security didn’t allow him.”

In news sure to disappoint fans of the Twilight soundtrack, Paramore has told Billboard that they don’t think they’re interested in appearing on the New Moon soundtrack.

Paramore drummer Zac Farro revealed: “It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don’t want to seem like we’re trying to get in every single movie they put out.” He adds: “We don’t want to be, like, the vampire house band.”


Paramore was up for an MTV Movie Award this weekend for the song “Decode” from the Twilight soundtrack, but they lost out to Miley Cyrus and her Hannah Montana movie.

Despite reports that Eclipse will begin filming in August, no exact date is set in stone yet. The filming schedule is “still being drafted”.

There are news that the casting crew are favouring unknown Canadian actors , for the role of Riley, rather than a known talent face. This includes Channing Tatum, commenting that he is too "established" already to play Riley.

There are new updates for the casting process, and here are the latest additions/updates that they are looking for:

Maria -”Maria found Jasper during the Southern vampire wars. At this point, Jasper was a major in the Confederate Army, and Maria was looking for humans that she could turn to vampires to create a newborn army, using the idea pioneered by Benito. After turning Jasper, she found that he was extremely useful to her, because he was able to control the emotions of the vampires around him, and make them work together. In Eclipse, Maria is described as a tiny brunette with a soft and musical voice that has a tendency to be sharp. She was able to control her thirst, though she still preyed humans’ blood. ”

Bree -”Bree was created by Victoria as part of her newborn vampire army to avenge James’ death. She never saw Victoria, as her “assistant”, Riley, was the one who told the newborns what to do. Bree was described as beautiful and slender with short da

Auditions for Eclipse are coming up soon– including the roles of Riley, Seth Clearwater and Leah Clearwater . There are also various members of the La Push wolf pack up for grabs too.

Apparently, Tom Felton (who plays Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter) is highly rumoured to be playing Riley wtf , and Vanessa Hudgens is still highly rumoured for Leah Clearwater please no

Here are the casting desciptions that they've requested>>

Leah Clearwater : Female, 19 years of age. Seth’s big sister, and the only female member of La Push wolf pack: “She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues.”

Seth Clearwater : Male, 15-16 years of age is a “tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin, Seth idolizes Jacob.” Black hair, lean muscle type, think swimmer type body.

Riley : Male 19-21. Good looking, blond, clean-cut, muscular college guy who falls victim to Victoria. He’s in his early to mid 20s and Riley was a newborn that was created by Victoria to act as the leader of her recently formed newborn army. He accompanies Victoria in her attempt to murder Bella Swan.

For the additional members of the La Push wolf pack and Quileute tribe cast, they are looking for Native American or First Nations actors or those who “look like they could be” Native American or First Nations people.

In the break before Eclipse begins to film , Taylor Lautner is already set on buffing up even more.

Jacob’s character is continually growing throughout the series,” Lautner told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night, “so I got about eight weeks off before I go back again for Eclipse and I’m going to be hitting the gym.”

Lautner said he’ll be getting bigger and bigger “until the end of the series,” but he looks forward to returning to his normal size.
