sup sup...wellington guys are totally crazy and off the hook. These guys were totally amazing. We made Transition history with the first ever step chant.
We quickly learnt a new TRANSITION step chant. Hopefully we will do this again at the Auckland event and get this on video.
There were about 150 guys at WLG Transition 08. Many young guys decided to get serious about the call of God on their lives. We had some phenomenal speakers, Brent Cameron once again proved how he is such an inspirational youth communicator followed up by Aaron Thomsen with his straight up message to choose your friends wisely. Blue Bradley wrapped it up with a challenge to a R.E.A.L man for Jesus.
The Alpha team took out the battles of mattress surfing and stretcher race...It was incredible..
We had a local band who stepped up to the mark in leading the boys in worship. They did a great job..
We saw a spiritual shift in the lives of the boys who attended. God bless Wellington Transition, we are already preparing ourselves for 2009

Hi guys, Tauranga Transition was an incredible event this year. There was an incredible transformation with the boys who did attend.
They started off pretty cool, calm and collected and ended up being totally crazy.
It was a real privilege to be with these guys as they truly inspired me throughout this whole event.
They were challenged with the truck pull against a selected group of men, we won that race. Although one of the boys almost lost his shoe under the truck.
The mattress activity was totally dangerous. Im glad no-one got hurt - I think. One guy was screaming, "let me done" But it was the noise was too loud so he jumped off and lost the race for his team.
The speakers did a phenomenal job. Mike Kemps lead the way speaking with boldness and wisdom. Nigel Cottle backed up with his clever stories and a strong message. Peter Whaanga finished it with a powerful challenge to the boys to be courageous under fire.
We then prayed for all the boys as they got down on their knees with their hands raise in surrender to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The grand finale was when the boys returned to the auditorium with such anticipation and enthusiasm. It was totally contagious with the men in the auditorium. Transition ended with a hiss and a roar.
I hope that this will be an event that the boys will never forget.
    God bless you all

Well, CHCH Transition was off the hook. The band was pumping and the speakers were off the hook. The young men who attended accepted the challenge to be a R.E.A.L. man for the big man upstairs. JC

    What is a R.E.A.L man?
Reject Passivitiy: A real man is a young man who chooses to reject apathy. This means choosing to be proactive in life and the call of God on their life. Willing to stand for the name of Jesus Christ unashamed of the gospel.
Expect Greater Rewards: A real man expects the best in life, striving for excellence and living life to the max to glorify Jesus Christ. He believes for God's best for his life.
Accept Responsibility: A real man accepts that only he is to be blame for the choices he makes in life whether they are good or bad. He accepts the truth that he is responsible for his own actions.
Leads Courageously: A real man leads with confidence and boldness. He chooses to take charge of the call of God on their life.

There was one particular boy by the name of Julian who was in a wheelchair unable to walk or talk. He attended Transtion on Saturday afternoon. At the end we gave the final challenge for the boys to choose to be a R.E.A.L man for Jesus Christ.

I will never forget Julian's response as he gathered all his might to stand and accept the challenge to be a R.E.A.L man for Jesus. It has been the most inspirational event I have witnessed in such a long time. A young boy who was physically unable to stand but with his whole spiritual man was standing tall as a mighty warrior for God shouting out, "use me Lord, if you can use anything then use me".

That night God used Julian to also inspire hundreds of men as we returned to the main event with Julian as our leader. Julian led the young men into the auditorium to a standing ovation and thunderous applause as hundreds of men stood in applause to the courage and bravery of a young man who refused to complain about his physical disabilities but believe God for the impossible. What a R.E.A.L man.
