Will Barras www.scrawlcollective.co.uk
Original member of the “Scrawl Collective” developed his style from Hip Hop and skater/bmx graphics. His murals range from strange and psychedelic.
Graham Dews (“Paris”) www.grahamdews.com

We launched the programme for trans today. There are over 70 events so I'm not going to list them all here, but Jonny's spent the whole day uploading them onto the website so why don't you head there…

New gigs and course info!
|
Things are about to kick up a gear in trans HQ, with the events programme about to be released.
In fact if you’re free next Thursday we’d love to invite you to the launch of trans 08 at 12 noon on Thursday 12th June 2008 at the Penthouse Bar in The Waterfront Hall.
We’ll have contributions from Scream Blue Murmur, 2007 Lap Off Champion DJ Stray and John Shelly and the Creatures, and a wee bite to eat. Plus you’ll get to see the new venue for loads of our best gigs this year.
It’s an open invitation so bring a friend if you want.
As a special treat for those of you on the mailing list we’re giving y’all first dibs on one of our gigs which is sure to sell out. On sale now, we are proud to announce that our opening gig on Mon 14th July (a bank holiday btw) will be Los Campesinos! Not only that but we complete the line up with Kowalski, Two Door Cinema Club and Cat Malojian. Tickets for this standing gig in the Waterfront Studio are only £8.50 and like many of our gigs this year this will be an all ages event where alcohol will be available for those who are over 18. This is not been officially released yet, so don’t go posting it on any forums or anything.
Tickets through the Waterfront Box Office on 028 9033 4455
We’re also recruiting for the Urban Market and looking for contestants for the Lap Off – contact Venus on mcdonnellv@waterfront.co.uk for registration for either event
On the UAA front Photography and Fashion Design have sold out and others are going fast so don’t delay.
Finally, if you were on the UAA Akidemy courses, we have just put some of the output from the photography course on our Flickr!
