Toonspeak Young People's Theatre is based in the North of Glasgow area, where we provide the young people with a series of drama activities at our drama workshops. Through these workshops we believe we can get you young people to unlock your imagination to heights never seen before.
Our productions are all devised pieces, we don't believe in casting people .. but to give everyone a chance to shine in the big stage.

Get Involved This Summer!

The show as big as your imagination……
It’s that time of year again, Toonspeak is recruiting for our summer show! This year we’re performing in a massive theatre tent in Springburn Park for SIX SHOWS!
We’ll be working with a main cast of 12 young people for the first week, who will then be joined by a support cast for the rest of the project.
Main cast will be chosen according to who has the best attendance and behaviour in workshops throughout the year. You need to be able to commit to turning up to rehearsal every day and being at all the performances.
Here are the dates:
Rehearsal week 1 (main cast) : Mon 26 July – Fri 30th July
Rehearsal week 2 (everyone): Mon 2 August – Fri 6th August
Production week (everyone) : Mon 9th August – Sunday 15th August
(involves some evenings)
