I grew up in Carrick, and now live in Dublin.I run an open mic night called the Zodiac Sessions.

The Zodiac Sessions is a singer / songwriter acoustic showcase held in Bruxelles Bar, Dublin. Every Wednesday, 8 or so musicians go up, play a few tunes and express their music talents. It starts at 8:30pm and finished at about 1am For info on the night and even samples of the musicians, check out the website.

Has to be the acoustic tunes and to be honest, my favourites are the musicians that play the open mic night every week like Tyrone Relph, GDC, Ray Heffernan, Steve Duffy, Jezzebelle, The Resistance, Anthony Furey, John Murphy to name but a few.

The Compilation CD
Over the past 4 years I have had the privilege of staging some of the greatest musicians I've ever heard. In January 2006, I took 13 of our regular acts into Stellarsound studios and recorded a compilation album. The result was "The Potential Collection". In October 2007, I took 12 more musicians into a studio with Ráth Music Productions and the result was The Potential Collection: Volume 2. To hear samples of the album, please click.....

    • The Potential Collection: Volume Two


      Righto....

      It's about bloody time we got this done and finally we are.......

      It's been 18 months since I recorded the Potential Collection Volume One and have been a little delayed with the "sequel".... my bad! But alas, Thursday (August 23rd), we commence recording....yeeehaaaaawwwww!!!!!! 6 talented musicians do their thing and then 6 more on the following Thursday (August 30th). From here, we go to the designing of the CD, then the printing/duplication, the promotion and then the launch night which hasn't got a finalised date or venue but does include a lot of music and drink (the sort of life-cocktail we live by).

      Keep checking this space for updates...
