The Dalai Lama has issued a statement stating that ‘These protests are a manifestation of the deep-rooted resentment of the Tibetan people under the present governance.’
The Chinese government are unswerving in their view as to who is to blame and have been quoted by the Xinhua News Agency, 'Now the blaze and blood in Lhasa has unclad the nature of the Dalai Lama, and it's time for the international community to re check their stance.'
