Believe it or not, it’s just over a year since THE SATURDAYS touched down on Planet Pop and quickly set about redecorating it in the neon shades of their sparkling fluorescent hyper-pop.

Since then a combination of nifty, killer tunes, super-tight performances and pure, hard graft has taken Frankie, Mollie, Rochelle, Una and Vanessa from bright-eyed pop ingénues to permanent fixtures on the UK charts.

“Everything’s moving so fast, I can’t believe we’re on our second album already – it’s like everything we’ve ever dreamed of,” enthuses Mollie. Now we’ve got this attention it’s come really fast. It’s not often that pop acts that aren’t from a reality TV show do well, and what’s more we’ve done it all off our own backs.”

And if THE SATS have just kept getting bigger and bigger, now so is their music. Their new single Forever Is Over— a hyperactive headrush of rollicking guitars, bittersweet euphoria and a huge panoramic chorus — introduces the spanking new sound of THE SATS Phase 2!

  • The winner of The Sats' Comic Strip Comp!

    For the last ten days you guys have been really busy on the forum, designing the ultimate Saturdays' Comic Strip!

    There's have been heaps of great entries especially as the standard was set so high by stellar-fuse. Their pic was so awesome that we forgot to say we are also sending stellar-fuse first prize of signed 'Ego' artwork! Please PM us on the forum with your name and address.

  • The Impulse Diaries Show: Your Reactions

    On Monday night, the girls teamed up with Impulse to put on an exclusive, intimate concert just for their fans, at the HMV Forum in London, and loads of you were there!

    Sarahwinterman The impulse gig was amazing, it was good to see all the girls back on stage again. Managed to get on the front row at the left where I got waves and smiles from them all and also a wink from Frankie. Thought the Ego performance was brilliant, loved their dance routine for that song.

    Luce0606 Watched the show from the balcony... even got a shout out in the show as I was waving the Team Sats tee shirt! Had a great night, treated like royalty. LOVE YOU GIRLS.

    saturdaysbestfan Best gig ever! Looked AMAZING sounded AMAZING dance and Wordshaker was incredible and speaking to them was lovely, so glad Una recognised me! love them!

    detective duckie Oh my god, last night was amazing. The girls looked absolutely stunning and performed their socks off. Still buzzing now after having slept, it was that amazing. Really cannot wait for them to announce a tour for next year now.
