- The distinct brash sound of the indie alternative rock music scene has traditionally enjoyed success through the largely underground network of fans found in the campus circuits, on university grounds, in the classrooms and in young kid�s bedrooms where some of the worlds greatest and latest can be found on the walls.
Brit rock abounds on the mainstream rock charts these days. The recent success of International artists such Coldplay and Steroephonics have caused a huge and relentless demand for the timeless genre. The South African music lover it seems is shares the same taste in music as their international counterparts.
Which brings us to The Parlotones.
The Parlotones are Kahn Morbee (vocals, guitar), Neil Pauw (Drums), Paul Hodgson (guitar), and Glen Hodgson (bass, piano, backing vocals).

>>BIG Concerts are pleased to announce the upcoming tour of one of the world’s most celebrated bands. Super-group LIVE will be returning to South Africa in October, for their most extensive tour yet. Beginning in Johannesburg on the 27th, they are then scheduled to perform in Durban on the 28th, Port Elizabeth on the 30th, and finally Cape Town on the 31st October.
