At last the summer season would appear to have started. The sun has been out and people have accepted the fact theres gonna be a bit of a recession but life still carrys on. We are back rehearsing once again and getting ready to rock out at a few gigs next month. As usual we are working on a few requests whilst continuing to strive to improve our overall sound. Once again The Thatch turns up trumps. We were a little worried it might be a quiet night but The Thatch rose to the occasion once again. It is definately the best Saturday gig in the local area and a great crowd. Many thanks to all the regulars who turned up and showed their support. We think you know the songs we perform better than we do, judging by the requests shouted out. Singing, dancing, you do it so well! Hey, the reserve footy team won, just gotta get the first team to do the same...Maybe "The Marsmen" should come and cheer you on like you do for us. Keef, who's Maggie? May we say well done ya crooner. Net, having my sweaty brow mopped whilst doing a drum solo was a first. Tackling a drummer mid solo is very brave manouver, many thanks. Everyones been taking it a bit steady since the New Year, but next Saturday Feb 21st we are back at The Thatch to resume business as usual. The new sound is coming along and we have decided to start writing our own songs. We will include them in the set later in the year.
