- The Keyz are an Indie/Rock band from Banbury, Oxfordshire with a DIY approach, working on every aspect from writing, producing and recording through to management and promotion.
In order to stand out from the crowd, the guys record, produce and mix everything themselves which has resulted in a sound immediately identifiable as The Keyz.
The band’s sound has often been classified as “unique”. A wide range of influences across a very broad musical spectrum (from The Shadows to Rancid) has meant The Keyz cannot be pigeonholed… but we’ll have a go at describing it anyway… If you take the production sound of 70’s rock bands such as ELO and Pink Floyd, then mix that with a pinch of Country, throw in a helping of 80’s American rock and wrap it all up in a modern British Indie ribbon, you have The Keyz
