We Just Are (Finalizer) OUT NOW!!
The Japanese Popstars have released thier title track to thier critically acclaimed debut album "We Just Are". The song was the last tune on the album called "We Just Are (Finalizer)" and now features added vocals from Jill Letson.
Support is coming from everywhere on this package and has been played by the likes of Pete Tong and Eddy Temple Morris on thier Radio 1 and XFM radio shows. This is the most 'radio friendly' track from the Popstars!
The Japanese Popstars are well on their way to becoming the UKs hottest live dance outfit. The Northern Irish trio are confirmed to play Glastonbury, Glade, Rockness, Oxegen, Fuji Rock, Exit, Planet Love (supporting The Prodigy), and numerous other summer festivals (that we’re not allowed to tell you about yet)
They exploded onto the scene in 2008, with a debut album that received heavy praise from The Guardian, Word, Artrocker, NME, Clash, Popjustice, Mixmag, DJ, Radio 1, XFM, and many more, with critics hailing them as the rightful heirs to Underworld, the Chemical Brothers, and Orbital. Remixes for Beyonce, Grand National, Ting Tings, Shinichi Osawa, The Music, Groove Armada, and Tong & Spoon - came thick and fast.
The Japanese Popstars’ live gigs saw them tear up stages at Glastonbury, Fabric, Wireless, Oxegen, Matter, Warehouse Project, and countless others. Their tours have taken them across the UK, Australia, Japan, and beyond, supporting the likes of Justice, Booka Shade, Carl Cox and Basement Jaxx, and cementing a reputation for a blistering live set.
‘We Just Are (Finalizer)’ was an outright critical favourite from their album. Now in a full vocal version that has become a highpoint of their gigs, the track is melodic, blissed out electro, but with the bands trademark sound. Currently writing their second album, Decky, Gary, and Gareth, have just finished one of their biggest remixes to date, details of which will be announced very soon.
Due to popular demand, the album, ‘We Just Are’, has been reissued complete with a second CD of remixes.
