All Shook Up
All Shook Up” is a triumph of the Glasgow Citizens Theatre - Inspired by the star-making performances of talented young stars from the Dance School of Scotland. Incorporating Shakespeare’s “twelfth night” and some of Elvis’s finest songs, set in small town 1950’s America, who could say no to this amazing performance?! And yes, with the enthusiastic reaction of the audience, they agree! The distinguished young actor Lee Harris and his fellow cast stole the show in this unforgettable tale of love and mistaken identity. It is hard to believe mere school children can deliver such a show, but they sure did! Look out for these young stars in the near future! They are well on their way and set to be BIG!
If you are a young performer why not try the “First EVER Citizens Summer School” Courses run through July for 4-18 year olds. Have a look on www.citz.co.uk and book your place! Who knows …You could be the next big star!

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull
I saw Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull the other week, and this my review of what I thought of it.

The film was fast moving from beginning to end. Fifteen minutes into the adventure I was feeling tired. For the 4th time Harrison Ford was the archaelogist in search of the crystal skull, to return it to its rightful place in the long lost kingdom. As usual Indiana was energetic and clever you soon forgot he was 60+.

I felt there was too much unbelievable action. At one point the mother of his new found son had faith that if she drove off the edge of a cliff the vehicle she was driving would miraculously fall on to a tree which would bend and lower them to safety. Too much unbelievable action for me.

hello

i recently discovered the grid as was very pleasantly surprised by it. However when i went onto the website to find more, it didn't work. The web address found on the inside cover page: 'www.thegrid.co.uk' took me to a racing website instead of your own. Is this a mistake or have you another website?

Thanks for your help

Thanks for clarifying that, I'd made the assumption that it was 1 pupil per area as opposed to per school (mainly because it was the first time the scheme had been advertised in the grid).

I would love to be a part of the Champions program, but I understand the 1 pupil "system" (I hate that word). out of curiosity, what kind of things does the champion program consist of? it was kinda vague the description in the grid
