My Best Friends
Mr T!!
Known Tony for 13 years arrrggghh, that’s a long time. He's great though. We have decent nights out with lots of banter. Haven't seen him in so long cause he's been away in Cyprus for about 8 months or something. But he's great. One of my best mates....even if I do get bumped for his latest conquests
Lisa is also one of my bestests. I can tell this girl anything, I think she knows all my secrets. We met when we worked in Marcos together and I thought she was a bit weird at first lol, but I soon found out she was lovely. We have some interesting tales to tell lol but those are for another day. And she is also mummy to the cutest little girl ever. Me & Glenny worked at the good ol' Inland Rev together. Think we just randomly started talking when I emailed him to find out where someone in his team was and then he moved down stairs. We'd spend many a day emailing back & forth then text & phoning lol. I think the best part of my 24 hours was spent talking to this guy. I honestly love Stephen to bits and I wish him all the happiness in the world.
He is honestly great & I love having him in my life. I will always remember our banterous nights in the Caley & Estab. I met Fee through Gordon and we now all live together in my awesome flat. She's great fun and the randomness is pure genius at times - the other night for example 'I'm not Lithuania'.....pure genius.
Fee's a great friend and someone I know I can always talk too & count on.
Haha, this is a weird one. Me & David went to High School together, he was in the year above me. I have a massive crush on him during 3rd year and then we started talking on here about 2 years ago. He's such a genuine guy and I can talk to him for hours without it being weird or anything. It's strange that we weren't exactly mates in high school but I consider him one now. Have know Sarah since Nursery School, that’s a long time. We went to different high schools & I moved to a different part of town so didn't start talking again until bebo came about but she's awesome and great to talk too. I really wish we'd been in touch over our 'school' years. I'll always remember sitting in my mums bedroom under an umbrella, I'm not sure why lol but we where only wee. I've also know Susan since Nursery School and we grew up in the stair next to each other. I used to stay almost every Saturday and we'd always try and do an 'all nighter'. We used to have picnics in her nana's back garden or in the hall or be out in the back green or in the church playing. In the school on Susan’s skateboards. Her dad used to give us things such as green chips and would let me tell 'stories' when I stayed over. We'd make mixtures for wee Andrew to drink and the best Xmas was when we both got roller blades lol. We went to high school together and although I don't see her much these days Susan's still one of my great friends and I love her & the kids very much. Neil is one of my newest friends who me & Sean met through Fee. He's a great laugh and just deserves to be in the top 8 friends

takes a funny turn at times and it's amazing how it turns out, first loves are more like a crush, friends become your enemies and enemies mean nothing. People you thought you knew stab you in the back and you learn never to judge anyone too quickly. My life, it's turning out to be awesome, I wouldn't change one thing unless I knew I'd end up where I am and with the people I know. I've been through my fair share of crap, crap friends, crap boyfriends, just generally crap times, but I've ALWAYS came out smiling and better off from it.
There are people out there who dislike me, maybe even hate me, I honestly couldn't care, they have their reasons and that's fine.
This years been great so far, ok, so I've not done even half the things I was suppose to, but I am doing the better things, I'm paying off all the crappy debt my ex left me in, paying off the credit card I got at 18, got another private pension in the bag, and starting to 'save for a rainy day'. It's not best, its cut my social life WAY down but I know that come next year I will have more money than I know what to do with and I can be doing more. So, planning for next year has begun, bit premature but who cares!?! This year I still have Fringe shows, Tim Minchin in Glasgow, & Russell Howard next week, mine & Sean's 4th anniversary, friends birthdays, my 25th, Sean's 23rd, Halloween, and whatever else pops up, but that's enough to keep me content until pay rise time in October and our possible bonus in December. (My work does rock!)
I'm venturing on new things, I'm gonna try more new things, take better care of myself, exercise more, eat better, feel awesome about myself instead of just good, be me, I'm past following trends. So I'm a little bit Goth, a little bit geeky, a little bit rock'n'roll, 'in fashion', preppy, but at least I can allow myself to be all these and continue to be myself.
After spending an hour sitting out in the Links with work peeps I have lost my train of thought, I shall come back to it laters.

You know I really don't understand our government!! At the current rate the state pension is £381 a month, and only after you've worked for 44 years for men & 39 years for women, and from what I remember my gran still had to pay rent & council tax off that, but Job Seekers get £203.76 a month, rent paid, council tax paid (minus water rates). And if your really lucky you can even get things like driving lessons out of the Job Centre.
Now I'm not discriminating, a lot of people are trying to get work, I'm sure I have friends who are on Job Seekers, but there are also people out there that are so lazy/drugged up/ or just plain idiots who won't take a job when it's given. I was on Job Seekers for two weeks, applied for about 30 jobs during that time just to get something, anything, yet folk can happily sit about for months or years scrounging off society/parents/friends/partners. It's disgusting in my book and I'm sorry if I've offended any my friends with this, but if I have, are you seriously happy not working?!
Anyhoo, my original point is that this morning I seen this little old lady, who is a neighbour of my mums, counting out her pennies to buy morning papers and milk.......whilst there are some folk out there on Job Seekers going out every other week, buying new clothes, having holidays, etc. So really, I'm enraged by the amount of the State Pension & treatment of pensioners. Yes they get a little more money, but only if they've worked most at least 44/39 years of there life, whist you can roll up to your local Job Centre after turning 16, not having worked a day in your life and get money straight away, how is that fair?? Why should we pay taxes just to pay the folk who can't be arsed to work!? In my opinion, after so many months you should be MADE to take a job, or join a recruitment agency, State Pension should be raised, by about £50 a week, and Job Seekers cut, maybe then they would be quicker in finding a job instead of living of everyone else!!

Other Half Box
The best thing that ever happened to me.
We've been together almost 4 years now, we have a million more up's than down's & we've been engaged for a year & a half. We've split up twice lol, once for 3 months in June 2006 and for a month in Feb 2007, both times for stupid reasons but thankfully we sorted ourselves out and went on to be better than ever.
Meeting Sean was like finding myself, I've never felt more relaxed & comfortable around someone from the beginning. He's sooo sweet, kind, loving, caring, protective and his hugs rock. He’s the real deal, speaks his mind, and tells me things straight when I need to hear them. He’s also a sarcastic c*nt but you get used to it pretty quickly.
Even after so long together we're still in the 'honeymoon' period most of the time, we want the same things in life and can't wait to experience them, but there's no rush for that. We've had about 2 arguments in our lives and that's no exaggeration, we just don't fight, and get along fabulously.
He's my soul mate, my best friend, my lover & my confidant all in one. I love him with my whole heart, body & soul and always will.
