The story so far...
Sixteen Fingers was born in a small garage in a little town called Broxburn, in the summer of 2005. After stumbling their way through Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', the band decided to name themselves 'Under Supervision'. This name stuck for the first few gigs, but within the year they had become 'Sixteen Fingers'. Since then, the band have enjoyed several succeses, such as playing a Saturday evening slot at West Lothian's Summer Music Festival, and getting to the final of XFM's 2007 Rock School competitiion.

The Music
The band have an ecclectic style, performing their own take on pop and rock songs to pub crowds, and playing a selection of their own songs for the more serious crowds. If you have seen the band live, you will have undoubtedly been subjected to their famous (or infamous?) 'Medley', and will also have heard the hard hitting sounds of songs such as 'Worrybombs', 'I Can Hear You Smiling', 'Snapping Buggs', and 'The Key Of Life'.

  • Hello.

    Just a wee blog to say that no, Sixteen Fingers are not dead.

    We haven't being playing any gigs for a while now due to the fact that we're all EXTREMELY busy. Jan and I are now at uni in Edinburgh, and Ross is doing his highers. Russell is just cycling the streets of Broxburn as usual, but you can't account for slackers!

    By the summertime we'll be thinking about getting some more songs recorded. That's what we're hoping anyway. We didn't want to do a crappy recording, just to have to re-do it later, so we've been holding off.

    I thought I'd let anyone who is interested know what we're up to.

    Thanks for being a fan etc etc, we really appreciate it. :)
