broken arm
ah for feck sake - i am after breaking my arm 
went mountain biking last sat - first and probably last time -was totally shitting it and rightly so as i was off-road through streams/mud/dips/rocks etc - not exactly ideal for my maiden voyage espically with someone of my skill level
anyway, i went over the handlebars - feck it
I am getting a plate in tomorrow in galway university hospital - so i could be 8 weeks off the bike at least i'll be fresh for the 08 season

off season
Well its off season (aka party season) for me at the moment - most people have gone back training at this stage -but i don't have the head for it just yet
The off-season is going well - firstly i went on 'holidays' with me parents to the Glen Eagle in Killarnely this was actually better than it sounds! Spent a FORTUNE (on the credit card of course) in TK maxx and the outlet centre
Then i went home for a week and a half - had a doctors appointment as haven't been feeling great - but its not life ot death......
Went to a wedding in Mullingar last weekend = got plastered and had a great time despite the fact i only knew 5 people there
went on the piss with some of the girls from school last night - had a great laugh! 
Am heading back to cork soon - then going on more 'holidays' to kilkenny next week - after that its back to reality i suppose

worlds
Just finished the worlds there last week. I finished a 'solid 67th' as it says in the media!! not quite sure what a 'solid 67th ' means exactly!!!
I was a bit disappointed to be honest! I was hopeing to do better - but given the shite run-up i had to it (chest infection in Aug, missed loads of training and racing and just finished a course of antibiotics 2 days beforehand) i suppose i did ok. only 81 girls did manage to finish (out of 140 + starters) so all in all i suppose i did ok!
SO thats it really for another season - God they just seem to whizz by.....I am giving the cycling one more year - and then thats it0 Comments 241 weeks
