**NEW BLOG**PAUL LEAVES SEVENSCARS**
Hey everyone.
Just a quick message regarding the band.As some of you may/may not know Paul has left sevenscars.He has left a personal blog(see below) which basically explains all.

Hey all!,
It may shock alot of you who are fans of SevenScars to discover that I have left the band. Being in SevenScars has brought me great joy and I feel I have learned so much as a vocalist. But the time has come where my goals and ambitions have become much different to that of the rest of the band. I wish them all the best in the future and that they find someone as sound and hardworking as they are. If you are a vocalist and are looking for a band give them a shout. Very little else to say only whoever bought, stole or raped someone for a copy of In God We Rust or saw us live... I love you... you sick fucks!!
Expect news over the next few months of a new project... nothing has been decided but I am in contact with a few talented musicians. Also if you are in band with goals of touring and destroying this bullshit notion that Irish bands can't be as big as other international acts feel free to contact me... try to keep it to the Munster region**
**Paul was a very important member to sevenscars.Without himself we'd probably still be jamming in Barrys living room.Best of luck to him with the upcomming projects. Their bound to be savage.
As for us,well, we are continuing to write the album.5 tracks now completed. A demo of some of these new tracks will be online in the next few weeks.

New Tracks Upload/ New Songs/ News
Hey all!,
Due to the success of the our debut EP we decided to put up the last two tracks that are on the record onto the myspace page www.myspace.com/sevenscarsireland alot earlier that we had originally planed.
There are currently, from an initial number in April of 500 copies, there are 50 copies of the CD left so if you want the CD in its original packaging there are still a few copies in Plugd Records (Washington Street, Cork) or you can perchase a copy through paypal on our website www. sevenscars. com.
SevenScars have no plans to produce more copies of the EP once they are gone they will only be available for download.
Writing is also taking place for a new record with 3 tracks finished which have a good chance of being on the next record, our debut full lenght. The songs finished are called "To The Sky", "Ignorance Is Bliss" and "Stranglehold". They represent more of what each member of the band brings to SevenScars and so far we are very pleased with how they are sounding. Demos from the album should be out around early next year, and expect the release of the album proper during Summer 2009.
SevenScars are also very excited to play Belfast Friday August 22nd with Escape Fails and hope to announce Dublin dates in the coming month.0 Comments 83 weeks

Is it true that sevenscars once, during a practise, all took their bangars out and danced around in circle while singing the theme tune from neighbours, or was paul just making that all up?
