A dialogue between Malawi and Scotland (Glasgow Culture and Sport)

An open discussion with Museums of Malawi curator Mike Gondwe about the obligations of the museum in a country battling extreme poverty and a widespread HIV/AIDs epidemic.
Gondwe talks on the role museums, as custodians of Malawi’s heritage, can play in facing the challenges of their nation’s future.
Glasgow Museums offers an insight into its provision of social justice programming, innovative learning initiatives and collaborative community outreach projects which engage the community in social and cultural issues facing the city.
With Music by Seeds of Thought Urban Poetry group.

3.20pm Glasgow Museums offers an insight into its social justice programme
(Victoria Hollows, Manager, Gallery of Modern Art,) and the use of Storytelling as an active learning tool inside and outside of the gallery

4.00pm Music and spoken word from Seeds of Thought Urban Poetry Group
4.30pm End the day with a visit to Sacred Journeys exhibition or join in a quiet meditation

Hullo, found you on youtube, I've just started reading ma poems recently, do you only do the west end?
If you ever need someone tae read for ten minutes, I would be happy too; also I seen Dennis (is it Collins) at Tchai Ovna on Southside, really good with his steal guitar and song. Glad to find his video on your youtube. You know if he has a website or a book or some such?

Hi there Seeds how are you all? I wondered if you might be interrested in performing your poetry at A Secret Policeman's Ball the Glasgow University Amnesty society are holding on the 6th December? Its basically going to be a night full of comedy and entertainment raising awareness of the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I am the mian organiser of this event but wer hope to receive help from Amnesty U.K. closer to the date of the event.
It would be great to have you guys perform, i beleive your unique performance style would fit in perfectly with the tone of the evening.
