Me, Myself, and I
Rushbrooke Rowing Club was established in 1989 after the original club burned down.
In 1990 our first boat “the Christopher G” was built and that year our U12’s crew won our first all Ireland gold medal at the All Ireland Finals at the Camber in Cobh

We have over 100 members and are currently in the middle of the rowing season, having had a great start by winning club of the day in both Blackrock and Whitegate regatta’s.

This year Rushbrooke is proud to host the Coastal Rowing County Finals. This is a huge event and a great privilege for the club, with 15 clubs from all around Cork competing in our waters.

On Sunday 26th August Rushbrooke Rowing Club became AIB All Ireland Club of The Year!!!!

    Should be good....hopefully we will do a bit better this week......we were missin a good few under-age last week...but we are still missin sum dis sunday......although we will be able to fill up 3/4 more adult crews on sunday, any chance of ye getting an under-21 crew together for sunday???

    We have very few numbers rowing this year. Currently skiff rowing in Dalkey is a dwindelling sport. We have two crews intermediates and under 14s. Our under 14s arn't bad. Perhaps they will feature in the all Irelands. In 2003 our under 14s came 3rd and in 1994 our under 14s won, they are the only Dalkey medalists at the all irelands:L

    If anyone is around Dublin in the summer and wants to keep fit in rowing or simply wants to take up a new sport sea rowing is where it's at.
    Training takes place at Colliemore harbour Dalkey @7pm
    Anyone is welcome to come down.
