For Global Cool, the New Year is all about recycling. As part of our mobile phone recycling campaign in conjunction with Vodafone, we are hosting a Swishing Party at London Fashion Week where you'll be able to recycle your unwanted clothes.

Are you finally ready to give up your Boho skirt? Or have you realised that body con just makes you, well, body conscious? Swishing is the latest way to breath new life into clothes that have been languishing at the back of your wardrobe. In the UK, over 1,200,000 tonnes of clothes are landfilled every year, of which over half is reusable. So rather than throw them out, we want you to bring them along and swap (or swish) them with our other swishers and pick up a completely new outfit.

    But you can find really good NON-Brand things as well...

    So this swishing seems like a great idea, and i'm all for saving the enviroment and stuff...but would everybody else not be raging if you bought along an expensive designer jacket and then end up with a pair of 4 stripe tracky bottoms?

    Imagine walking in with a fur coat on and walking out with an oxfam jacket...hmmm actually that might be quite funny...for the person who brings the cheap crap!
