When looking at anyone's reasoning or emotional reactions and feelings, you need to know their past, present, and hopes for the future. My past is convaluted, full of extremes of happiness, sadness, and delluded desires and wants. I've lost those close to me, those who i used as my rock, those i believed in, those i looked up to, those who comforted me, those who inspired me. Death is a concept open to discussion, as many think death is only the start of another chapter, an afterlife. As a teenager, you are constantly bombarded with pictures of idealisms and ethereal ( and sometimes surreal) futures of happiness. You not only are told there is more to life than a teenager's problems, that you alone are not the sole malcontent in the world, and that all in all, you should pick yourself up and dust yourself off. And yet, as a teenager, as we all know, you are vunerable to feelings of which you aren't prepared, and which you cannot bring yourself to face. - Music
