Oh my Gosh!
It;s 2008 and Nick and I are now married. How incredible! How Delightful! How Wonderful!

The wedding was spectacular and truely was a Fairy Tale . We pulled off the theme, much to everyones relief and we felt we created a special experience for not just ourselves, but for our loved ones as well.

I wish I could do it all over again. The day was blur and all that planning... 6 months for less than 6 hours! Sniff sniff. Nick and I think we might just have to find a reason soon to put back on our outfits and relieve even just a moment!

We are blessed with beautiful friends as well. Incredible people in our lives who have supported us, loved us and been there for us at every step. We thank you, Family and friends. Nick and I value to you to bits.

Oh my goodness.... Busy Busy! You will see that there are new photo's added of Marnie, Patsy and I making the outside covers of the invites! Well they are almost ready to be posted! Just need the inserts printed and typical me .... I have written far toomuch and I don't think it'll fit!

I had an awesome day yesterday with Ruth. As we are still trying to decide on the final design on my dress, we thought it would be wise to actually go shopping and try on some different styles and get an idea of what suits me before we start making the dress. We went to a couple of discounted shops first. Man oh man , I can tell you that cheap and cheerful is also cheap and nasty. I think if you were skinny you could just about go anywhere, but if you so much as have a curve or two.... cheap dresses just don't work. Some were just horrible. I started to get a little down. I was wondering if I just wasn't going to look like a bride at all. But we ended up at at Wilkinson or something.... I can't remember the name.... But the service there was incredible and the dresses just beautiful! I tried on a couple that were extremely expensive but to die for! But then I tried on a dress that caught my eye the very first moment I walked into the fitting room. It's called victoriana, which is funny seens we are wanting a period dress. Well I put it on and well, ...... I just about cried. IT WAS PERFECT!. Ruth couldn't believe it when I stepped out of the dressing room. We both just looked at each other and both said... I think THIS is the one. So I bought it. !!! At least we don't have to wonder how the dress will turn out making it. And the cool part is that the dress has massive scope to be dressed up even more and some of the little embellishments I wanted can be done to make this dress truely unique. FUN FUN FUN!
