- For the last few decades, the R&B and Pop music scenes have evolved tremendously. From R&B artists with a rugged and edgy sound to pop artists who incorporate hip hop into their music. However, today it seems most artists produce the same catchy tunes and hooks, with their only intention of selling records. Fortunately, there still exists a breed of artists who not only can produce an infectious tune, but are committed to preserving the integrity and the true art of singing. P. Murray belongs to that breed.
“I want to be that guy that listeners can turn on and always know they're getting something refreshing and beautifully sung…I want my music to uplift & inspire, as well as provoke thought and create a good time for people,” Murray emphatically states.
Though this is the first time Murray has promoted himself as a solo artist, his reservations are few and far between. Murray’s next project, the debut EP entitled "First Draft." is sure to make its mark in the industry.
