Pluto is a five peice rock`n`roll band from Auckland, New Zealand.
Their new album, Sunken Water, is an album of complex and beautiful songs showing off the high amount of talent these guys have, released in October 2007 it is the 3rd full length album Pluto have released.
New single "Snakecharmer" will be released August-ish 09

"Hey Fans .
We have been busy finishing off the video for our new single ‘ Snakecharmer’ . We had some help shooting the clip from Florian Habicht, who is establishing himself as one of N.Zs most talented new filmmakers .
We decided to take a different tact all together and splashed out on a new generation HD camera and set about shooting the video ourselves . As mentioned before in this blog Milan has established The Wall recording studios and we have now installed a green screen studio to film all our own video clips .
Milan has learnt to edit the footage and so we are
Rapidly fulfilling our goal to be 100% in control of our creative output .
We are now looking foward to playing some shows
\in September to celebrate the release of new material . It has taken a while but after requesting to depart EMI we have structured things to run our own label Slow Rodriguez Records . We are working with Grant Hislop again for radio and Peter Campbell as our Live booking agent . The rest is in our hands .

"Update- shows, album..
Just an update. We played some crazy fun shows in Queenstown last week for the winterfest. -5 degrees is pretty cold to play in outside.
We were joined for a show by an american T.V crew from Project MyWorld (look em up on myspace), they travel round the world looking for bands they like who aren't signed in the U.S.. And after trawling myspace they chose 3 bands from NZ and we were 1- lucky us. I'll keep you posted on when we might see it.
Were playing some shows in Oct with Crowded House and Supergroove.
Our New Album will be released in sept.. about the 18th. So look out for first single to be released soon ish. We love it. We think you will too. (we hope)
