There have been many happenings at the Hub recently, and here are just a few:

Karine Polwart
Well renound and a Hub Favourite, Karine Polwart graced the penicuik stage at a gig produced by Burntout Records. The sold out gig was a fantastic night, and Karine was begged to play for an encore. Previewing some fantastic songs, Karine wowed the audience with her vocal and musical tallents. Tickets were hard to come by, as even residents of London travelled to the venue.
The Hub was also graced with the presence of Siobhan Miller and Jeana Leslie who enjoyed the show from the other side of the stage for a change!
The night was a great success and we hope to see Karine back at The Hub in the near future!

Savourna Stevenson
The Hub's most recent gig was performed by local harpist Savourna Stevenson. Penicuik audiences were awed by her beautiful pieces and angelic compositions. Supported by Burntout Records artist Gillian Rhodes, the night was a fantastic success. Arranged slightly differently from previous nights, with candle light tables instead of rows of chairs, the gig was very atmospheric and relaxed. Audience members even travelled from Geremany especially for the gig!
