- I started the Orillasound project in 2005 as an internet dj project, recording home and house party mixes with my cd decks and then making them available to stream online. I was always jealous of the artists music that i was mixing.
So I started producing my own techno/house music starting with very basic loop editors and soft sequencers. that was 4 years ago, Now i am using a combination of recorded audio, multitrack recordings, midi controllers and soft synths, im working on bass guitar and drums for future productions.

Should Recording Artists In The US Be Paid Performance Royalties For Radio Airplay??
The US is currently the only country that doesn’t pay recording artists performance royalties for performances on terrestrial radio. The US Senate passed a bill in October that would require radio broadcasters to pay royalties to performers, but NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) has lobbied for enough votes in the House to stop the bill from passing. Is artist exposure from radio airplay enough for broadcasters to justify not paying artists performance royalties?

bebo downsampling
when artists, bands etc upload their new music to bebo, bebo slashes the bitrate to 55kbps affecting quite alot of the sound, that is annoying.......myspace downsample their uploads to 96kbps which is a bit better but still audibly noticable, if you want to hear cd qualtiy versions of these tracks and more visit www.orillasound.co.uk and click on 'My Music' i stream my stuff at 128kbps which is equivalent to cd audio quality......1 komentarz 296 dni

yea they are a good label just comming up for there 100th release. yea that course would have had alot people taking advantage of the system a few people stood out and u were 1. i didnt know much about the industry then it helped me loads i thank sace on my space a few times for the work people like him do. ive still got the books i got from the course. im lookin forward to hearing more of ur stuff. all the best bud and keep it up.

would love to try make a remix of that gold dip bud . has a few really sweet sounds. lovein all the bell type samples wae the sweeps . n u have a really tappy synth bassline only way 2 describe it. really lovin it. tell me if ur intrested in hearing what i can do with it some of the samples and ill try a remix.
