- OPEN YOUR MIND
A project developed to raise awareness about mental health problems among students aged 16-25 and to decrease the stigma around mental health problems.
There are a number of problems identified with the transition between school and college/university such as, Separating from parents/family members, finding identity as an adult and your place in the world and practising house-keeping, managing a budget and finding your way around a strange place.
Open Your Mind is open to all further and higher education students aged 16-25 in Northern Ireland.
Open Your Mind is a partnership project between NUS-USI and MindWise (formerly Rethink NI)
NB: THIS BEBO PAGE IS MONITORED BY NUS-USI BUT WAS DEVELOPED AS PART OF YEAR 1 OF THE OPEN YOUR MIND VOLUNTEER PROJECT in QUB.
