- Songs are gutsy guitar-based tunes about love, sex, infidelity, small town life, and life on the road. Renowned for her superb powerhouse vocals, Onya is an excellent live performer. She generally performs solo, but occasionally uses percussion, keyboard & added guitar for larger venues. Her years of working tough audiences have paid off- she is an excellent entertainer; charismatic, engaging, and well able to deal with the inevitable wolf-whistles. - 2008 included with a three-month tour to the USA. Appearances included 8 very successful showcases at SXSW Her debut CD 'Secrets and Lies' was released & sold on itunes. A trip to NYC, Holland, Newquay to play the QuickSilver/Gibson Surf Festival. Lots of writng & recording with Gareth Mannix & Dave Morgan where Little Diva came to be. SO 2009 will bring about the launch of LITTLE DIVA, the persona & the single...all in good time

Insomnia in Noordwjik!
Good Morning Everyone! Its coming close to 5am & what was a pitch black night is gradually returning to another sunny day in a bubbly beach resort just south of Amsterdam. I arrived here yesterday, travelling with my friend & comrade Niamho as far as Schipol Airport from Marienberg ( or The Veltinks house in Bergentheim, East Holland to be precsise!). We just spend five eventful days touring & gigging in various venues in East Holland starting off though in Mulligans of Amsterdam.
The tour began with myself & The Surfchixxx (as all cracking tours do!), we were then joined by the tremendous DEAD FLAGS & ofcourse not forgetting Lou....& her phone!
After one night in Amsterdam it was time to head for Amsterdam Central, locate the "freshmen" RedKid & GO EAST! From the moment we came together on that drizzly Dutch afternoon it was non-stop action! Personally Im putting it down as one of the best times of my life to date! So much music, fantastic people, laughter, afterpartys, pre-partys..... oh there's so much more! But right now there's a sunrising over the bay of Noordwjik so Im going to catch that & over the next few days I'll add more. Before I go I just wanted to say thankyou to all the musicians, the crowds, new friends & old, venue owners and especially to Gerrit & Jeannette Veltink for allowing us to stay in your house, drink your beer, eat your food & yesh alsho thanks to Niamho, Gerrit & Jeannette for putting the tour together.... words are not enough but i'll buy you a beer!!

This was shot at my showcase in THE DIRTY DOG on 6th Street, Austin Texas during SXSW Music & Film Festival. It is an acoustic version of one of the new tunes from my next album "Little Diva" which will be released in 2009...its nearly there! Keep in touch for a release date
