- Chozin Few started in various garages and street corners with freestyle sessions which eventually turned into song writing sessions.Rakis and Watts being founders met DJ Myrikal who seemed to share their passion for hip hop and the willingness to put in work to become a force in Wellington and New Zealand hip hop. The crew started recording and performing around the Wellington region building a reputation for hyped live performances and delivering music that is unique to this crew. Armed with 2 fine tuned mc's and dj Myrikal who constantly ranks high in dj battles (4th place at the NZ 2005 dmc's)this crew is ready to share their talent and hunger with anyone who dares to listen! 2007 is a rebuilding stage for the Few as Myrikal is on an extended holiday in Germany. CHOZIN plan to build on from 2005 where the crew dropped their independent self titled "Street release" and DJ Myrikal dropped "Street Credentialz The Mixtape which were both well recieved. Never fear, Chozin are still here

URBAN KAOS STUDIOS up n running
Urban Kaos Studios is now all go. Were operating a vocal booth out of Titahi Bay, PORIRUA. We are using pro tools and some real nice MXL2000 condensor mics. The booth is big enough to set up a full drum kit or 2 vocalists at once. As well as it being the headquaters for CHOZIN FEW we have been recording with and for Wellington hiphop crew F4Meta4z(Doughboy Records) and have hosted the Wanderers plus other artists of which you will soon hear from. We are currently hiring it out for a very good rate which cant be beat this millenium. Get at David-Rawiri-Rakis for more information on prices and to answer any questions you may have.

What were up to in 2007!
Hey fams!!
Chozin Few is on Bebo! Yes weve been a tad quiet this year, Our DJ, Myrikal moved to Germany last year to follow his girl, he's doing pretty well over there but we hope they kick him out soon. Weve struggled a little as performing with no one to man the decks can be a little too straight forward with no room to do impromtu stuff. Also when he left NZ we were left with no place to record and with my accountant being strict we didnt have the money or time to chase studios up for recording time. So the plan was to "build it and they will come". OK so the home studio is say %93 done and from there we will definitely head into it like Somalians at Valentines (no disrespect to you Somalians) coz the Fews Hungry. We hope to release some sounds independently again later on in the year but all new info will be posted up here. Ive had a lot of help from the family networks to get me this far and hope that peeps stick around to see what comes next for your friendly neighbourhood rap crew.
