Dingle Days! Gigs! ODi on the web!!
Dingle Days
We've just returned from the breathtaking Dingle peninsula in the West of Ireland after a busy two weeks continuing to record tracks that will form the debut ODi album.
The sessions took place in Garvey's Farmhouse, Ventry , a beautiful little spot used regularly by The Frames as a recording venue over the years. As If this was not inspiring enough the the magical view and the mystical surroundings made sure there were plenty of vibes!
We've settled on working on 14 songs , some old (Mariposa), some new (Make it Better), some Borrowed ( One in A Million a song we both love written by good friends Man & Wife)....... Hopefully there is nothing Blue!!!
Everything is starting to come together as we head for Mixing in a couple of weeks, we will be sprinking some strings on some of the tracks in the meantime to make things sound a little sweeter!

Before we mix we are heading out to play some gigs and roadtest some of the album material around Ireland ! Hope some of you can make the following.

Odi played a whirlwind of a gig on Wednesday the 27th of February just gone.
They were phenomenal and once again Lead singer Claire blew the crowd away with heart wrenching vocals, with Dave on Guitar and backing vocals.
I love this band!
