    Sick as aids. Tidal pools everywhere, all you need is the tide to be lower than half tideish. Proberbly 7 hours of mint skimable tide. Piece of piss to get your rails to.

    Not sure if anyone on here counts flatlanding as skimming but the Omaha estuary is mint for it. When you go into Omaha across the causeway look to your right and about 1km or more up there is perfect. We can skim on any tide and for the best part it's shell free. Also I can skim every day rather than wait around for ages for some swell. Not saying either skimming is better just using a bit of common sense!

    hey guys i found an awesome place for skimboarding !!!!!!!

    Its dis place caled Matata i dont knw specificaly where it is but the waves break about 3 metres from the beach and they r huge at mid-high tide.

    Saw a guy skimming at Takapuna Beach. He had a $800 board which seemed to be a bit expensive for the skill level he was at ay.. wouldn't tell me where he got it from though, shipped from overseas i think. Pretty sure the bottom of it wasn't going too good for the amount of rocks and shells. But he was skimming so that's all that matters, i told about nzskim but he said he'd just like to do his own thing. Also he said he was going to make a website next month called offshoreskimming.com so yea.. Just sharing thoughts..
