About Me

Me, Myself, and I
We started in 2002 and pretty much finished in 2003/04

Debz was the singer and sometimes the bass player. Aikie was the lead and rhythm guitarist. Steve was the drummer and recorded shit on a video camera. Hadley played guitar for us for a while at the start and was vital in our debut assembly performance of Nirvana's "About A Girl", handling vocals. Jimmi D also featured with a harmonica for an impromptu "James Brown" jam.
Johns also wrote "Poos not Blues" about a young Matthew Sewhoy and sung Bush's "Glycerine" at a shitty gig we did for a couple people but left for a solo career, plus Piggy wanted his guitar back.

The remaining 3 did fuck all really, including the Centennial School Fair for some reason. And we were the only band not to get to our High School Talent Quest finals. We got beaten by some girl who couldn't play a trumpet.

We wrote Empty Crate with James Devlin on the piss and Drunken Haze was written by Niggs, no doubt on the piss.

We do fuck all nowadays

  • Drunken Haze

    Words: Niggs
    Music: Aikie

Where do I go? What do I say?
Life to me is just a drunken haze

All the pain that grips me
It tears, holds and rips me
I'm pleading the bottle that I hold to make me better
It swears to take me somewhere better

Where do I go? What do I say?
Life to me is just a drunken haze

Leading into darkness and then disgrace
As I try to keep these tears from my face
I can't let them see me weep
These friends that I'm struggling to keep

Where do I go? What do I say?
Life to me is just a drunken haze

How do I deal with all this pain?
I keep drinking but the memory remains
And when they lay me down to die
The bottle will laugh but who will cry?

Where do I go? What do I say?
Life to me is just a drunken haze

  • Empty Crate

    Words: Aftermath and James Devlin
    Music: Aikie

The night dew hits the ground
Oh, and I love that sound
Seems like a year since you come around
And I want you to come around

    Sitting with an empty crate
    Wondering, is this my fate?
But for now I've got to sit and wait
And I can't wait for more

Why did you have to go and leave me all alone?
Why did you have to go? Why did you run away?

    Sitting with an empty crate
    Wondering, is this my fate?
But for now I've got to sit and wait
And I can't wait for more

There's so much more I wanna say
    And I won't hesitate today
To tell you how I felt last night
And how you can make it right

    Sitting with an empty crate
    Wondering, is this my fate?
But for now I've got to sit and wait
And I can't wait for more

    I can't take this anymore
    I am gay
