More Guests Confirmed!


More guests confirmed and possibly more to come yet Firstly we are once again delighted to be able to bring over the ever talented voice actor and Director John Swasey. He's voiced many characters including Gendo from Evangelion and Death from Soul Eater and he's just such a sound guy! Really looking forward meeting him! Also we have the privilege of having UK skit artists Team Giblets attend! We're very lucky to have them and they'll be helping us out, selling t-shirts and performing on the weekend! Thanks guys! Cosplay!


If you look on the main site you'll now see a page dedicated to cosplay rules and information. Also we are proud to announce that Nom-con will be taking part in the Euro Cosplay Competition hosted at London Expo! More details on the cosplay page.


Dealers!


The dealers page has been updated once more and including Team Giblets we'll also be having Zenpop publishing attend. They're a new local manga publishing group so be sure to help support local talent



Pre-registration!


Thanks to all who have already pre-registered with us. Your support is greatly appreciated! If we can get another 180 pre-regs in between now and the 1st of June, as a thank you we'll add a special secret gift in the con bags It's pretty cool and we already got great ideas on next years gift ^___^


Just to let everyone know currently we have most of the accommodation in D4 hotels on hold for just nom-con attendees. Be advised to book soon as rooms are booking up and the rest will be released to the general public at some stage.



Registration For Events And Artist Alley!


Just to let everyone know that we hope to be accepting registration for some of our events including Artist Alley as of May 1st. Artist Alley in particular is pretty limited in space and registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. NOTE: Only pre-registered con goers can register for events online so get your skates on and pre-register. For anyone who doesn't get a place on Artist Alley we'll be setting up a special section in the bring n buy where we will sell your goods for you as per bring n buy rules. (they should be up soon)

Guest Confirmed!

We are extremely delighted to announce that veteran actor Chris Patton is to attend Nom-Con next August. Chris has lent his voice in countless anime's such as Full Metal Panic, D-Gray Man, and Soul Eater and is a huge hit with fans at any of the conventions he's attended throughout Europe and the US, however this will be his first Irish appearance.

Pre-Registration To Open!!

Our online pre-registration is to open as of this weekend coming! Provided there's no complications the plan is to have it up and running by Friday night so be sure to check back on the site over the next week as there'll be a few updates going up. There'll be more details on this coming along with instructions on completing the registration form and methods of payment.


Hotel Bookings!!

D4 hotels should also be ready to receive bookings for rooms in the hotel itself for when our pre-registration goes up! They have twin/double rooms at special nom-con rates for you people and you'll be hard pressed to find better prices for such nice rooms elsewhere. Also I'm sure many will see the numerous advantages to having rooms in the same building as the convention Expect all kinds of hilarity to ensue over the weekend! ^_^


Dealers Hall!!

Nom-con is proud to announce that we have confirmed several major traders from abroad to attend Non-con 2010! Dealing in plushies, figures, manga, DVDs, gundam kits, and much much more!! We will have the largest assortment of anime-related goods to be gathered in one place in Ireland to date! Artist Alley and the Bring N Buy are also going to be up and running, so for many there'll be the opportunity to sell your unwanted anime/manga merchandise or your own original creations, and for others the chance to pick up some bargains or some unique works made by fellow fans.
