2011 Volkswagen CC Safety

All 2011 CC’s come with a good number of safety features as standard fare. Included are stability control, traction control, frontal side-impact airbags and curtain airbags, ABS with Volkswagen’s innovative, intelligent Brake Assist, and hill-hold assistance. For reasons unclear, Volkswagen has eliminated the optional side-impact airbags in the rear-seats.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives the 2011 Volkswagen CC (all trims) four out of five stars for safety in the event of a frontal impact. NHTSA additionally rated the CC’s front-passenger side-impact safety with five stars, and four out five for side-impact collisions in the second row. Finally, the IIHS gives the CC a perfect rating of Good in side-impact and offset frontal-impact tests.
