All of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler models come standard with electronic stability control (or ESC for short). Studies have shown this technology to reduce the risk of fatal single car accidents by more than fifty percent. Also included standard is electronic roll mitigation technology (or ERM for short). ERM actively monitors the vehicle to try to anticipate a potential rollover, and will apply the brakes and modulate the throttle as necessary to help drivers maintain control of the vehicle.

In addition, all models of Jeep Wranglers also come with automatic traction control, which automatically activated to assist drivers in maintaining traction under poor conditions. For those drivers planning on driving on steep inclines, the Wrangler also features Brake Assist and Hill-Start Assist (or HSA), to help prevent rollback on graded surfaces. Finally, for any driver planning on hauling trailers or campers, Trailer Sway Control(TSC) monitors the vehicles motions in relation to the intended path. This technology will initiate Electronic Stability Control if the trailer begins to sway outside of the specified parameters.
