2011 Jaguar XK Safety

For you safety, the Jaguar XK includes 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with emergency braking assist. The disc brakes on the front and rear are ventilated to allow maximum stopping power. In addition, there is side-mounted airbags with head protection chambers for both the passenger and driver. To further protect passengers, daytime running lights, an engine immobilizer, front fog lights, xenon high-intensity discharge headlights, dusk sensors, and child seat anchors are included in the XK. To ensure proper seating positioning, Jaguar has incorporated front seatbelt pretensioners to keep you in the right position during an accident. For added maneuverability, the XK also has Stability Control, Traction Control, and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution to give the driver more control over their Jaguar. The XK also has passenger and driver head restraints to prevent whiplash during collisions. Other safety features are a pre-collision safety system, emergency interior trunk release, turn signal mirrors, self-leveling headlights, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
