2011 Cadillac STS Interior, Exterior Styling
The bold STS design is an expression of Cadillac’s flair for details. The multi-faceted, dual-textured grille, high intensity discharge headlamps, and automatic high beam system, put the STS in body sync with the Escalade and CTS. The front fenders are inspired by the Escalade and CTS.
The sleek, but noticeable nuances incorporated in the hood as well as in the rear express understated luxury at its finest. Thoughts of subtle power permeate the entire body design. The STS has a unique character; it expresses sports car handling in a sophisticated package. The exterior color choices as well as the sunroof option and the heated mirrors, headlight washers, and auto-xenon headlights individualize the personality of the new STS.
The interior is trimmed in Sapele wood which is the wood used in musical instruments and fine furniture. The wood steering wheel and the instrument panel trimmed in wood with metallic touches make the cockpit look like a exotic European luxury model. Features like satellite radio, power leather front seats, OnStar, and two area temperature controls are standard on all models.
Other features like the keyless access system, Adaptive Remote Start System, heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated seats along with the Head-Up display make the STS easy to operate day and night. The STS has a infotainment system that has few peers.
The system is the first OEM-installed surround-sound audio system. The 5.1 Boise system has fifteen speakers and an integrated six CD/DVD changer. The system is capable of playing CD, DVD-A and MP3 formats. It includes an eight inch touch screen as well as bluetooth phone capability and advanced voice recognition.
