MEET RICKIE -
Hi I’m Rickie and I present MTV NEWS and am also part of the new team of presenters on MTV BASE. MTV NEWS provides up to the minute music and entertainment news from around the world, to the world, to over 90 Channels across the globe online and on mobiles. You can catch MTV NEWS Bulletins on MTV ONE, MTV BASE, MTV HITS and TMF Mon-Fri on the hour every hour. Plus at weekends, catch 'The News Cube' which is a half hour show rounding up the week's top stories, presented by myself and my MTV partner in crime Laura Whitmore.
MEET LAURA -
How’s it going? I’m Laura Whitmore and I co present MTV News and The News Cube with the lovely Rickie Haywood Williams. I was plucked from the obscure landscape of the Irish wilderness by a show called Pick Me MTV to be the new MTV News Presenter. OK, It wasn’t actually the wilderness or obscurity I was taken from, I’m from Bray Co. Wicklow and studied journalism at Dublin City University. Music wise – I love a bit of everything but I am a bit of an indie girl at heart. You can catch me on MTV NEWS Bulletins on MTV ONE, MTV BASE, MTV HITS and TMF Mon-Fri just before the hour every hour. Plus at weekends, don’t forget to catch 'The News Cube' at noon. Keep it news…
