Britain marches loud and proud |

On Saturday 5th July I marched in London @ Gay Pride here is a brief report!
Half a Million marched !
As the parade entered the square, trade unionists from Unite, UNISON, RMT, UCU, NUT and NASUWT handed out information and pink TUC LGBT T-shirts from stalls. The TUC was a co-sponsor to the event. The rally was a successful combination of speeches and entertainment, with musicians such as Sandi Thom and Culturebeat rubbing shoulders with Mr Tatchell, Ms Harman and campaigning actor Sir Ian McKellen. Anxious to escape the problems bedevilling his administration, London Mayor Boris Johnson joined the Gay Pride parade through London.
Mr Johnson faced some boos on the route over his support for the Tories' Section 28, which banned councils from "promoting" homosexuality, and for comparing gay civil partnerships to marrying a dog.

Hi Guys & Girls,
Thanks to everyone who came along yesterday.
It was good to meet you all and see what you had to say!
There were a few quotes of the night mainly from Katy!
1 - yeah i know a car moves, has a steering wheel & a BACK seat!
2 - Wheres belfast - i thought it was in Wales!
IF you have any ideas or friends to take along on 10th July that would be great.
Keep an eye out for where we will be meeting it will more than likely be Highfield House again.
