""That I Might Make Thee Know The Certainty Of The Words Of Truth;..."Proverbs 22:21"

The Lord has been SO GOOD to us! We love being missionaries and are delighted to do God's will! We have a church in Nuevo Progreso just started this year in a very poor colonia. The name of the church is Templo De Santidad which in english means Temple of Holiness. We are staying busy with services there. We also hold children's classes on the street in downtown Progreso. We have a Bible Study there with a family that we have had for two years. We have children's classes in Reynosa also. We are also the caretakers for Champion Ave. Holiness Mission that has just been started this year. The Lord has provided the finances to pay the property in full and is providing construction materials daily for the remodeling. This project is being headed up by Bro. Frank Rodgers. The grounds will include a church, youth camp, campmeeting, dormitories, kitchen area, and warehouse. This is just the begininng and we can't wait to see what God has in store for South Texas/ Northern Mexico~!

" Back- To-School & More TRS News"
A very big special thank you to all of you who helped gather school supplies and sent donations for this project.
We are especially thankful to the First Baptist Church of Shelburn ,IN and the Seprodi family along with our neice Heather Tucker of Peerless Pentecostal Church for traveling to be with us for a special week of ministry. The FBC provided their ministry van for transportation andnot only brought supplies they had gathered but also supplies from a couple of Pentecostal Holiness churches in Indiana. All together we were able to give out 2650 backpacks filled with supplies. And around 220 bags of just supplies.
We had a special service at our church Templo De Santidad in Progreso. We also had a children's class in the park downtown Progreso with the police assiting again this year. We were able to give backpacks to our Reynosa class which we have not been able to go before. At the church we attend in Reynosa-
Templo Monte Sinai we were able to give 40 backpacks all provided by Bethel Pentecostal Church where Bro. Thorton Stanley is the pastor.
The Seprodi family & Heather also was able to paint a room in our Bible Study's family 's house again this year. They were very grateful.
We visited a different orphanage in Rio Bravo where all the children live in one big house as a family. One girl is age 13 with a 3 year old the result of incest. Another one age 14 is expecting. It is so sad and heartbreaking. We were able to bering supplies and toys and hopefully the love of Jesus was felt in the giving.
We visited several dump areas giving out supplies, toys, books, tracts, and New Testaments in Spanish. We had a wonderful week of ministry and hope the Seprodi family and Heather enjoyed it as much as we did.
Church services and classes continue along with the work on Champion Ave. Holiness Mission. We are staying very busy. We appreciate your faithful support and prayers. Continue to pray lost souls will be saved and that we will see growth inour church not only in attendance but in lives.
God Bless You!

"Templo De Santidad"
One of our most faithful attenders of the church Reina along with her 6 children has had to leave N. Progreso to go with her husband to visit his dying mother. The family had to sell everything including thier home in order to make the trip to Veracruz. They were very upset and we prayed with them that God would make a way for them to return soon. Please help us pray for this need. The husband is not saved and can be abusive. Reina and her children love our church and desire to return.
God is also dealing with Maria's ( the like mayor) husband. At one of our recent special services we held outside he said he wanted to come but there was no room to sit. He sat outside their house/store the whole service and listened. After service he thanked us for what we are doing and said we are the nicest Americans they have ever met. That they are so thankful that we are always there for their people and that they can always come to us for prayer. He also said they are wanting to sell their house. Please pray God's will to be done as it seems his heart is just starting to be softened towards the Gospel.
Since Reina's family has left it seems we have gotten to minister to her sister's family in a greater way. Reina did not tell her family she was leaving. Panchis ( her sister) was very broken hearted and we were able to pray with her and since then she has started coming to church. Pray for her salvation.
We have also had several opportunities to pray for those that are sick in this village. We are praying that God will also touch their heart along with their body.

"Hurricane Dolly"
I just wanted to write a little bit about Hurricane Dolly for those of you who are wondering. We survived! God is SO GOOD!! We didn't hear about the hurricane till late Monday evening before it's strike. We were able to secure some our unreplaceable items along with the school supplies we have already received into a more safe place and against the risk of flooding. We visited South Padre Island on Tuesday afternoon with a friend and saw some really beautiful waves. We took alot of pictures which I will be posting later. I am at the library right now in McAllen where they do have power. We have been without electricity in Donna since Wednesday afternoon. We have been staying at a friend's house during the hurricane and since then until power returns. I am very happy and thankful to God to report that our travel trailer survived the hurricane with very little damage. Only one air vent blown off and slight damage to one of the doors. The tree standing very close to our trailer was not uprooted or anything. There are alot of trees on our street that have been uprooted and one aluminum carport that was destroyed but God kept HIs hand upon our trailer! Please continue to pray for the people of South Texas. There are many, many other people in areas that have lost their homes to flooding and are without not only electriciity but water also. We have not been able to go to Nuevo Progreso yet to see if/or what damage this has caused to our church and the surrounding homes. Pray for these as I know for sure when we have a heavy rain it floods 2-3 ft. normally in their homes so this could be very bad for them. We have spoken to one sister at the church we also attend in Reynosa and everything seems to be fine there. They were without power for awhile but it has been restored and they don't have any flooding in their neighbor hood-Thank God! I want to say a very big -"Thank You!" to all of you who have kept us in your prayers these last couple of days.

Hi Connie, I dont get to get on here as much as I did due to school. Im in my last year and it is very hectic. We got some wind from Ike that tore down trees and stuff. Winds were about 80 mph. Electric went out in many parts here in Ohio. Ours was out about 36hours but there are some that still dont have power. Thank you so much for your kinds words. They do mean alot to me when I hear them. I really do need prayer right now. Sorta in a whirlwind about now. And cant get out of it. The weather hear has been very cool which Im thankful for. I will try to get on here more to stay closed connected with all my bebo friends. Enjoy your day!

Glad that everything got to you alright. Glad that the eye of the hurrican didn't get to you all. Good to hear that the school supplies for the children didn't get any damage. We will be sure to keep all of you in our prayers. I know how it is being without power. It is hard. We were without power when we had the ice storm we had. It was no fun at all. Dad had a generator which wasn't to bad. When we went to bed we went to bed. It got dark. I feel for you. Love all of you. Talk to you later.
