What happened in the week Monday September 24 - Friday September 28 (episodes 4511 - 4515)

It's such a relief to hear that Martha and Jonah have been rescued unscathed from the mine. What an unlikely pair to be stuck together! The time between them must've had some sort of impact on them, as they've been acting differently towards each other. Martha defended him in public by helping him get out of his parole violation, and even called him Michael! To convince Martha that he's changed is a huge feat, I wonder what his story is?

I was quite pleased with Geoff and Annie for the heroic roles they played in the rescue, but I wasn't the only one who noticed. Geoff caught Tam's eye with his good looks and gentle nature and she convinced him to let her go to his Bible class. After he had taken extra care in how he looked she stood him up, leaving him hurt with a schoolboy crush.

However, Geoff's disappointment with Tam seems minimal compared to the other havoc she's wreaked in Brad and Rachel's lives. After a lovely picnic day, Tam's attitude changed as soon as Rachel refused her money for going out. Instead of taking no for an answer, Tam stole her purse, later not regretting her actions. Rachel became fed up with her and had her move in with Brad, despite him living at a motel.

Tam is actively looking for trouble as she suggested to an elderly motel neighbour that Brad, her lover, was keeping her there against her will. Conveniently for Brad, as the police showed up, he was being told about a future interview for a job at Yabbie Creek. I don't know what Tam thinks she's doing? It's just a game to her. She best mature quickly and realize her actions are having real consequences on people's lives, and it isn't funny.

Maybe I'll help to convince her of this, as we'll be spending heaps of time together soon. Brad and Rachel gave in to let Tam move in with me due to their frustrations with her. I came across Tam walking on route to finding her mum. Her running away stressed Brad out even more so I covered his classes for him, that's the least I could do. Tam's timing in his life is not ideal, but at least Brad and I are getting closer. As a door closes, a window opens.
